Martha’s Pantry opened in December 2022 to provide a dignified food response to the people who live in the villages of Slamannan and Limerigg which is an area of high deprivation.

The pantry is at 9 High Street, Slamannan, FK1 3EX.

Opening Hours

The pantry operates from premises at Slamannan Cross and is currently open to registered service-users on a Wednesday afternoon from 1pm to 3:30pm. Opening hours and any additional opening sessions are posted on our Facebook page and in the weekly round up section of the Falkirk Herald.

Our selection of fresh, chilled and long-life foods.

A fee of £2 is asked for each week which allows the registered service-users to choose from a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, food items on the shelves, fresh and frozen food from our fridges and freezers, as well as household cleaning items and personal hygiene items.

Who are we?

A warm welcome awaits at Martha's Pantry.

The Pantry has a committee, made up of existing volunteers. The committee meets every eight weeks. The pantry also enjoys the support of the local councillors, MP and the Upper Braes Parish Church. The pantry has around 20 volunteers who assist with the purchasing of food and serving on a Wednesday afternoon.
